Grade 5 & 6 Trip to the ROM
We all enjoyed our trip to the ROM last month. We were able to see many artifacts from the ancient Mesopotamian civilization and review what we've learned about them in class.

Using Laptops in the Classroom
The Grade 5 and 6 class love learning with laptops! Having laptops in the classroom gives the students the opportunity to work on their computer skills and learn how to use programs that will help them in their studies. One of the biggest achievements the students have made was learning how to use video editing software. They have filmed and edited several enjoyable features that they have shared with the rest of the school.

Eleanor Rigby Recorder Duet
The grade 5 and 6 class wanted to learn how to play the song
Eleanor Rigby by The Beatles after hearing the song in their classroom. Their music teacher made it happen. The final product had separate parts for each
student and sounded truly wonderful.
