Symmetry

To help the Primary Class understand the concept of symmetry the class did an experiment using paint and paper.
The paint was poured onto one side of the paper, then the student would fold that piece of paper in half to see what would happen to the other side.
 The results were quite interesting!

The Grade 1 and 2 class show what they have learned about symmetry on this bulletin board.

  1. It looks like the kids had fun doing symmetry paintings. I think it is important to make learning fun for the children because when you enjoy what you are doing, you often do better than normal. I like your mission statement at the top of the page as well. I think it is really important to work closely with the parents to help these children receive a good education and become respectable people. http://olivetschool.ca/academics/
