Gr. 3-6 Art Class

Painting in the style of Jackson Pollock.

They were inspired to paint in this style after going on a field trip down town and seeing his work.

They had to cover the floors (and themselves) from spraying paint.

Music was playing while they painted.

Fun was had by all.

Their extensive Pollock-Inspired exhibition is currently hanging in the gym for your viewing pleasure.

Being Thankful

The Kindergarten is thankful for so many things. Last week we went outside and also down to the creek to find things that the Lord made that we were especially thankful for. Then we included them in our Thanksgiving Books. Here are some of the wonderful things we found:

The bridge,

ducks,

the creek,

throwing rocks,

grass,

the playground,

and climbing bars!

There is just so much to be thankful for!

Playschool's Thanksgiving

Playschool makes Thanksgiving meal - we make chicken and gravy, potatoes, carrots and yummy stuffing. We cut our vegetables very carefully!

Children help to set the table - see our place settings!

Yum! Our tummies are full and thankful to the Lord for good food!
