On April 14, the Grades 2 through 4 went to a beach on Lake Ontario to enjoy the warm spring day and hunt for fossils. We found some amazing specimens! We also did a short writing exercise, while sitting in the sand, in which we felt, heard and saw our surroundings and thought of words to describe it.
Many thanks to our chaperone for the afternoon, Katharina, who helped keep an eye on the exuberant children.
