Talent Show!
Today, as part of a very special music class, the students from JK through Grade Three were all part of talent show production. Some students performed and others were official audience members. Everyone had a good time. The picture above shows the Grade Three students with the puppets that they made for one of their presentations.

ONCS Playschool gets global press
The most recent issue of "Around the New Church" features on the back cover our very own Judy Todd and a handful of playschool students. This publication is sent to church members and supporters around the globe, and I think it's great that our little program is so wonderfully represented by such happy smiling faces!

Headed in the Right Direction?
One of the consistent difficulties plaguing visitors to our church and school is a sense of confusion upon entering our main doors. This stems from the fact that they are confronted with two sets of stairs but no indication of which direction will get them to their desired destination. Once again drawing on the genius of Sandy Bradfield, we have solved the problem...at least for now. Just today we installed a big, bright directional sign indicating to our guests which set of stairs will get them where they need to be. Soon, we'll have additional signage in place that will aid in directing folks after they have successfully navigated the stairwell.

Fun With Movement
Nobody likes to sit behind a desk all day. The Primary Room had a great time moving to a soundtrack with some creative movement excercises. The two pictures below show them pretending to be a big bell and acting like wiggly fishes!
